Abdul Ntale pursued a bachelor’s degree in Development Studies & Democracy at Nkozi University in Uganda. Over time I have accumulated a wealth of experience in creating growth and positive change for people and economic, political, social systems and leadership skills. I currently hold a certificate of leadership training on team-work, team building, performance management, from African renaissance center for training and research and I also hold a certificate in business literature from International Labour Organization. I also acquired a certificate in transformational leadership, self-leadership and servant leadership from the leadership academy organized by Uganda youth network. Over time, I have worked in different fields and organizations, that is to say, I currently work with Wakiso Youth and Women Equality Center since 2020 to date as the Program Officer and a member of the accountability advocates network and sustainable development Goals(SDGs Champions) Uganda.

What inspires your work on ending childhood sexual violence?

I am kind of leader that encourages and inspires Childhood Sexual Violence victims and Victims Human Trafficking young girls and women including employees to innovate and develop new ways to grow and improve the path to a community future success. A leader that supports one another and provides them with the support, guidance, and inspiration they need to work hard, perform well, and stay loyal to the group. I am also able to encourage others to communicate and participate, Active listening skills, Adaptability, Authenticity and genuineness, Creativity, Emotionally intelligent, Inspirational, Open-mindedness, Proactive problem-solvers, Self-awareness, Supportive with Willingness to take responsibility. 

One highlight from your experience in the SPROUT fellowship:

As the new generational leader Sprout Fellow I gained more experience mainly during the Leadership Streams where I inspire young people by creating space for inspiration and knowledge sharing to spark creative thinking using naming gifts, sharing personal visions, storytelling, inclusive group coaching.
