Rubina Singh
Rubina Singh (ਰੁਬੀਨਾ ਸਿੰਘ) is the Network Weaver at Ignite Philanthropy, where she focuses on weaving connections and synergies within the vast Ignite partner network. She has over a decade of experience in capacity strengthening and community experience design and a passion for ending violence against women and children. She is a practitioner of Design Justice and Inclusive Design processes and brings a feminist, participatory, and intersectional lens to all her work.
Rubina has previously worked with grassroots organizations like Chhoti Si Asha in Chandigarh, national organizations like Design for Change India, and international organizations including The Commonwealth Youth Programme Asia Centre and UNDP India. She was also the founder of the Chandigarh chapter of Hollaback!, a global movement to end harassment against women and LGBTQ+ folks. In 2015, she was shortlisted for The Queen’s Young Leaders Awards for her work in the field of gender rights and received an honorary Associate Fellowship with the Royal Commonwealth Society. Most recently, she was the Online Learning Lead at Prevention Collaborative where she led the strategic design and development for online learning experiences for violence prevention practitioners.
